	Determine coding conventions, code architecture
	Create database schema high-level and low-level requirements
	Generate data code layer
	Write functionality and merge with presentation layer

Stage 4: Deploy

	Purchase any necessary software licenses
	Install software onto production server
	Update server with any necessary service packs
	Deploy data, code, and necessary files to production server
	Test complete functionality

An iterative method is incorporated; e.g. functional specs may be revised during the development process, and components may be tested on a production server prior to development.
